3. Hosting and data collection on our website (Shopify)
Our website is operated by Shopify International Limited (Victoria Buildings, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland). When you visit the website, Shopify automatically processes technical data (e.g. IP address, browser, operating system, time of access) to deliver and secure the site. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and error-free operation). Data may be transferred to Shopify Inc. in Canada and the USA, based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or standard contractual clauses.
4. Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies, for example for the shopping cart and shop security. No consent is required for these (Section 25(2) TDDDG). We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising.
5. Orders and payments in the shop
If you place an order or buy tickets in the shop, we process your details (name, address, e-mail, order and payment data) to perform the contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Payments are handled by the payment providers named during checkout. Data that we must retain for tax and commercial law reasons is stored for the statutory period.
6. Inquiries and bookings via forms (event inquiry, table reservation, sun loungers)
If you send us an inquiry through one of our forms, we process the data you enter (e.g. name, e-mail address, phone number, occasion, date, time, number of guests, budget, comments) to handle your inquiry and make you an offer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The forms run on Google Apps Script. Your details are stored in a Google spreadsheet, and notifications and confirmations are sent via Gmail. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. A data processing agreement exists with Google. Any transfer to Google LLC in the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. After submitting the form you receive an automatic confirmation by e-mail.
We store your inquiry for as long as it is being processed and delete it no later than 6 months after completion, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. after a booking) apply. The same applies to inquiries sent by direct e-mail to booking@conceptgluecklich.com.
7. Instagram and Facebook
We link to our Instagram and Facebook profiles. Data is only transferred to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. once you follow the link, and Meta's privacy policy then applies. We do not embed any Meta content on our website that transfers data without your action.
8. Your rights
You have the right at any time to access your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. Please contact booking@conceptgluecklich.com.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
